Still have questions? Reach out to Ian, Meryl, or Val, our wonderful onsite coordinator: vhastings@ausableclub.org
01
Where do I RSVP? When do I need to let you know by?
The button at the top of the page will open the link to the RSVP portal. Please select a package depending on how long you will be joining us. We recommend arriving Thursday night to get the most out of the weekend. However, the festivities will officially kick off Friday at midday, and all formal wedding events will happen on Saturday.
Please RSVP as soon as possible (latest should be August 9th, 2026!)
02
Where am I staying? Do I need to book a room?
Everyone will be able to stay on the Ausable club property in either a club hotel room or a club cottage, which you can book through the RSVP portal. When you arrive, please check in at the front desk to receive your room accommodations.
The club has limited rooms, so the majority of guests will be staying in the cottages. Cabins come with full kitchens, including utensils, plates, cookware, etc. Feel free to bring up snacks or food for the weekend (though all meals will be provided). Once everyone has RSVPed, we will do our best to place close friends in cabins together!
If you would prefer to stay off-campus but nearby, there are a few inns and Airbnbs that may have availability in September -- we are happy to provide recommendations if this is of interest!

What should I pack?
There are a ton of options for ways to spend your days here... which means shifting from muddy/sweaty hiking clothes, to bathing suits for the swimming hole, to suit and tie for dinner! Depending on what you'd like to do over the weekend, here are some suggestions:
Hiking:
-
The Ausable club is nestled in the middle of New York's 46 high peaks and offers some incredible hikes. If you have hiking boots, bring them! If not, bring a pair of sneakers that you don't mind getting a bit muddy. We would also recommend leggings or long pants. Layers are key up here!
Tennis:
-
Tennis shoes and whites are required at the Ausable Club. Rackets are available to borrow.
Golf:
-
Collared shirt required. Clubs are available to rent.
Lawn bowling:
-
Flat, closed-toed shoes are required.
Friday Rehearsal Dinner + Welcome Party Attire:
-
Cocktail. Coat + tie for men.
Saturday Wedding Attire
-
Black Tie Optional. Coat + tie for men (wear a tux if you have one!), mid-length to maxi dresses for women.
Additional notes
-
Temps during September in upstate New York can be wide-ranging. Make sure to check the weather forecast for Keene Valley for the weekend.
05
How do I get to the Ausable Club?
Information on how to get to the Ausable Club can be found in the "destination" tab of our website. The Ausable Club is located at 137 Ausable Road, St. Huberts, NY 12943.
06
May I take photos of the event?
In a concerted effort to remain present throughout this special event, we would appreciate it if everyone would refrain from taking photos during our ceremony. Our photographer has got that covered, we promise. Feel free to capture the beauty of Ausable and the joy of the rest of the weekend.
07
Will I have cell service?
Cell service is limited. Verizon tends to work best. AT&T is able to get a few bars in some areas. Every cabin and hotel room has free WiFi that you can connect to if needed (...or you can tell everyone that you had terrible service all weekend and therefore can't work/text back...). We will never tell.
