location:
The Adirondack
Mountains
We can't wait to welcome our loved ones to the breathtaking Adirondack Mountains! Since the early days of our relationship (i.e, Michigan Sophomores), this has been a place we've created cherished memories – savoring slow mornings over coffee with a view, tackling grueling hikes in hopes of becoming 46-ers, taking guideboat trips to the Upper Lake (Meryl rowing, Ian sunbathing, of course), and sharing endless laughs with our friends and families.
This place has witnessed our journey from college kids with a crush to lifelong soulmates. We are overjoyed to get to share it with you soon!
with mountain-sized love,
Ian & Mer
Travel
how to get there . . .
From the NYC Area
Option 1:
The easiest way to get to The Ausable Club from New York and the surrounding area is to drive. It takes around 5 hours (depending on the number of snack breaks added), and you get some stunning views along the way.
There is a gas station in Keene with electric chargers available if needed, as well as free parking behind the club near the golf shop and at each cottage, depending on where you will be staying (we will let you know upon arrival... see section below).
Option 2:
Take the Amtrak Adirondack line from Penn Station to Albany* OR all the way to Westport (longer train ride, but gets you ~20 minutes away from the venue).
From out of Town

Option 3:

Option 4:
Fly into JFK, LGA, or Newark Airport in NY/NJ and drive 4.5 hours

LOdging
where to stay...
The entirety of the clubhouse and its surrounding cottages will be reserved for our guests to enjoy.
When you RSVP, please indicate the number of nights you will be staying and the lodging package you would like. Read more about packages + pricing here. When you check in at the club, you will be given your cottage (classic ADK-style home) or clubhouse (similar to an inn) room assignment.
See the map of the Ausable Club campus to get an idea of where you'll be!
If you would prefer to stay off campus, there are a small number of inns and Airbnbs in the area that have availability in September. Chat with Meryl/Ian for recommendations!
THINGS TO DO
There will be time throughout the weekend to enjoy our beautiful surroundings and participate in various activities. More information on including an "activity voucher" with your stay can be found on the RSVP form.
